As the majority of schools have now broken up, ordinarily there would be a mass exodus to the beaches of the Mediterranean or further afield, but with the ever-changing government advice, an increasing number of us will be staycationing at home this summer.

And while the idea of 6-8 weeks in the UK may fill you with dread and questioning how you will entertain your little ones, it doesn't need to!

If like me, you're a planner at heart, you'll want to make sure that you have a number of things planned each week (leaving some days to chill or take as they come) so that you're not left worrying about how to spend your days.
